When disaster strikes, it does more than destroy homes — it fractures the emotional and economic foundation of entire communities. In the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, thousands of Jamaican families face the difficult task of rebuilding not just their homes, but their lives. Recognizing the urgent need for a coordinated, transparent, and sustainable response, the Women for Jamaica Recovery Coalition (WJRC) — under the fiscal sponsorship of the As One Foundation (AOF) — has united women leaders, NGOs, and private partners to drive recovery efforts where they are needed most. 

Our mission is clear: to rebuild communities, restore mental wellness, and renew hope — beginning in Westmoreland Parish and expanding across the island. Through this partnership, every contribution directly supports initiatives that balance immediate relief with long-term resilience.

This collaboration reflects a shared belief between AOF and WJRC — that real recovery means restoring dignity as much as rebuilding walls. With the As One Foundation’s 501(c)(3) framework, donors can give confidently, knowing their contributions are managed with full accountability and directed to verified, measurable outcomes on the ground.
